Which robot mower fits my yard?
Enter your lawn and we filter 16 current wire-free models by rated area, stated max slope and navigation type. Prices are from each brand's official US store, checked 2026-10-24.
How the calculator decides
- Area headroom (our rule of thumb): we only show models whose brand-rated area is at least 20% larger than your lawn. Rated areas assume ideal conditions; slopes, obstacles and many zones reduce real coverage.
- Slope: your steepest spot must be at or below the brand-stated maximum. Within 10 points of the limit, we flag it. Wet grass makes climbing harder.
- Navigation: RTK uses satellites and needs open sky; LiDAR and cameras see their surroundings and cope better under trees. Under heavy cover we flag RTK + vision-only models. See wire-free vs boundary wire.
- Zones and narrow passages: all listed models support multiple zones in their apps, but a passage narrower than the mower (plus a margin) won't work. Check the passage width on the brand's spec page; Mammotion states 21.7 in pathways for the YUKA mini 2.
